Job Summary
Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) Division. In this role you will deliver planned repair and servicing jobs directly to members, from their driveway to their workplace car park.

Compensation and Hours
* Base salary of £40,170 with on‑target earnings up to £52,000.
* Guaranteed overtime option after the first month, with optional overtime and bonus opportunities.
* 40‑hour work week; core hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; one Saturday in four.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine servicing.
* Diagnose issues using advanced mobile equipment.
* Complete in‑depth repairs normally done in a workshop.
* Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspections.
* Carry out vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
Qualifications
* Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
* Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
