The Opportunity
An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to support a major engineering project, working on-site to ensure compliance and quality assurance across mechanical and piping installations.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Review and assess contractor inspection and testing documentation to confirm adherence to project specifications
Verify quality records and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and standards
Provide on-site quality oversight across piping systems and mechanical equipment installation activities
Support the implementation and monitoring of quality processes within a construction environment
Collaborate with project teams to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and workmanshipYou will have the following qualifications and experience
Strong technical knowledge of piping installations, welding processes, and mechanical equipment systems
In-depth understanding of UK regulations including Pressure Systems Safety Regulations, PE(S)R, and CDM
Demonstrable background working within inspection, quality assurance, or construction environments
Experience working on engineering or infrastructure projects in a site-based capacity
