At Upham Inns, you’ll be a vital force across our 14 beautiful pubs and boutique inns, stepping in where needed to steady the ship, drive performance, and inspire high standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead Where It Counts – Step in to manage day-to-day operations at different pubs, from charming country inns to lively dining hotspots. Be the calm in the storm and the spark that ignites performance.
* Be the Culture Carrier – Live and breathe our values. Set the tone across both FOH and BOH, lead by example, and energise teams wherever you go.
* Coach & Develop – Mentor rising talent, boost morale, and deliver memorable guest experiences through engaged, well-led teams.
* Uphold High Standards – Ensure compliance, cleanliness, food quality, and service levels are never compromised – you know what great looks like.
* Collaborate with GMs – Support local leaders with problem-solving, planning, and commercial insight that unlocks growth.
* Jump In When Needed – From helping launch new sites to covering shortfalls or turning things around – you’re hands-on, agile, and always dependable.

What You Bring to the Table
* Proven leadership in hospitality – pubs, kitchens, or multi-site operations
* Strong grasp of both BOH and FOH operations
* High standards, infectious energy, and a motivating leadership style
* Commercially savvy – confident with P&L, labour, stock, and compliance
* Calm under pressure with a get-it-sorted attitude
* Full UK driving license + own vehicle
* Right to work in the UK
