Join Lancashire County Council to support adults with learning disabilities in their own homes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The role requires enthusiastic, motivated and flexible people who enjoy helping others live the lives they want.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing daily support to adults with learning disabilities in their own homes.
* Supporting people to access activities and experiences in the local community.
* Assisting with personal care and support.
* Managing personal finances.
* Administering medication and ensuring health and positive outcomes.
* Supporting individuals in a person‑centred, dignified and respectful way.

• Ability to work independently in a 24/7 care environment
• Willingness to support community activities and personal finance management
Benefits and Salary
Pay: £12.65 per hour
Hours: Casual hours per week with enhancements available for weekend, bank holiday work and sleep‑in shifts as relevant.
