Role
As a Management Accountant, you will provide strong financial control, accurate reporting and insightful analysis across Collective Training and Training Services. This role partners closely with operational teams, influences decision‑making and supports financial performance across several contracts.
Day to day responsibilities
* Produce and review monthly financial reports, budgets and forecasts
* Monitor contract costs and revenue to ensure accurate financial performance
* Partner with operational teams to understand cost drivers and income levers
* Support contract reviews by identifying risks, issues and opportunities
* Deliver financial analysis and modelling to support informed decision‑making
The role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week, primarily home‑based, with on‑site attendance on average once per month at Lakeside or other sites.
Essential experience
* Experience producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts
* Strong capability using Microsoft Excel and wider Microsoft Office tools
* Experience working with finance systems or ERP platforms, such as SAP or Navision
* Ability to analyse and interpret financial data into clear, actionable insight
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively
Qualifications
* Recognised professional accounting qualification, or strong part‑qualified status
Security clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
