Purpose of the role
To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
* Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
* Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
* Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
* Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
* Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
* Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
* Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Join us as a Treasury Operations Funding Analyst in the Cash & Liquidity Treasury Operations Funding team where you will play a key role in managing funding of the Firm's nostros, minimising liquidity risk, and driving operational excellence across Barclays' global network. Partnering with Treasury, Trading, and Operations teams, you will manage funding flows and balances across the Firm's bank accounts. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a high-profile function, working with stakeholders across the business globally.
To be successful in the role you will need the following skills/experience:
* Experience in operations ideally across payment, settlement or cash management functions
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to make decisions under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proactive in strengthening controls and embedding best practices across funding and settlement processes.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
* Strong knowledge of cash and liquidity management, treasury operations, or funding in a global bank or financial institution.
* Experience of a payments / settlement function
* Experience of working to multiple daily deadlines
