We are currently recruiting on behalf of a logistics company, for an experienced Class 1 & Shunter Driver (NIGHTS) to join their team in Raunds. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for long-term work with a respected local employer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles for on-site and local deliveries
* Carry out shunting duties within the yard and between nearby company sites
* Complete vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
* Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
* Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
* Follow all company and legal safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with up-to-date CPC and digital tacho card
* A good understanding of vehicle safety and yard protocols
* Flexible attitude and a willingness to support wider transport operations
* A maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
* A minimum of 2 years experience
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Full-time, Temp to perm
* On-site parking and facilities available
All applicants must have 1 year UK experience valid CE / CPC / Digi Card UK & References
