Brief Description
The TRU N&E Infrastructure Integration Programme Manager will support N&E Route with the ongoing interface with TRU and delivery of various TRU aligned maintenance projects. This includes most significantly the TRU Future Asset Management (FAM) programme of work but also In-Service Asset Monitoring, and Digital Twin projects. The incumbent will also be responsible for wider asset management challenges including TRU diversionary Routes and engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
Programme Support:
1.Lead TRU infrastructure integration on behalf of N&E Route. Manage medium and longer-term scope, funding, and requirements issues.
2.Deliver all TRU related management reporting to both Route and Programme.
3.Act as client for the Future Asset Management (FAM) ES3 project of development work to confirm how overnight freight will be supported through an innovative ALO mechanised maintenance approach.. Represent and interface with NW Route as required
4.Work collaboratively with the N&E Maintenance interface function providing detailed discipline level scope decision making.
5.Manage ES3, ES4 and ES5 level Route endorsement acceptance.
6.Implement an assurance framework and KPIs for programme management activities.
7.Develop and implement relevant programme management standards, processes and
procedures.
8.Develop and deliver a specific programme/project on time, to budget and to other agreed
success criteria, within corporate guidelines.
9.Produce investment plans for the programme in accordance with Investment Regulations.
10.Deliver the effective development and management of suppliers and staff to meet all corporate rules and means of control (including standards), in particular those relating to safety, quality and environment, and disseminate lessons learned.
11.Deliver the effective development and management of suppliers to meet programme
requirements.
12.Establish and manage collaborative cross-functional virtual teams to deliver change projects,
where appropriate.
13.Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
14.Develop the capability and professional development of staff within the programme and project management teams.
15.Liaise with internal and external customers to address customer needs by fully understanding
them and taking them into consideration in any strategic or policy changes that may arise.
16.Discharge Network Rail's CDM related duties as required by company process.
Essential
·Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
·Excellent interpersonal, management and communication skills
·Substantial proven experience in programme management
·Excellent knowledge of programme and project controls processes and systems
·Proven experience in managing and developing teams to achieve high performance
·Proven ability to work with senior industry stakeholders to understand their requirements
·Membership of a relevant professional body

·Knowledge of the rail industry and its regulatory framework
·Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures
·Experience of working in a commercial environment in a programme management role
