Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Maternity Cover) | BL3 A warm and nurturing primary school in the BL3 area is partnering with Teaching Personnel to recruit a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a maternity cover from September for the full academic year. You will support the phased return during the summer term and may be used to support within Key Stage 1 as part of the role. About the Role As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the Lower KS2 classrooms. Your responsibilities will include: Providing targeted one‑to‑one and small‑group support Assisting with the planning, delivery, and review of lessons and learning activities Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Supporting pupils with diverse needs, including SEND and EAL Encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to effective classroom management Building strong and supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families What We’re Looking For A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for early education Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Patience, empathy, and a child‑centred approach Why Join Teaching Personnel?
