As a Buyer at Independent Forgings, your day might include:
* Supporting the Purchasing Manager with the setup and development of a centralised procurement function, developing policies, procedures, and controls for the procurement lifecycle.
* Managing the purchase order process, including requisition management and expediting orders from suppliers.
* Generating reports from purchasing data to facilitate business decisions.
* Working alongside the sub-contract coordinator to manage and expedite sub-contract requirements.
What do you need to succeed at IFA?
* You should enjoy making improvements to procurement systems.
* Get a buzz out of hitting targets.
* You are likely to have some experience in a similar role.
* You will have excellent organisational and IT skills.
* You are likely to be qualified to A level standard or equivalent.
