You will empower children and their families by ensuring their voices are heard, their care is personalised, and their experience is seamless across services. You'll play an important part in our development as a centre of excellence for complex paediatric care. Who We're Looking For: You are a registered children's nurse with substantial experience in paediatric complex care. You are passionate about holistic, family-centred care and excel in a collaborative team. Your excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and ability to work independently make you a trusted leader and advocate for our patients. Main duties of the job Reporting to the Matron, your responsibilities will include: Provide autonomous nursing care to children with complex medical needs across inpatient and community settings. Advocate for children and families, ensuring their needs are central to all care decisions. Develop relationships with families, community teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues to support integrated, high-quality care. Coordinate the specialist service across a range of clinical environments, bridging gaps within the Trust and with external partners. Monitor patient conditions, deliver treatments, and communicate any changes to the wider clinical team. Deliver specialist education, training, and support to families and health professionals.
