An exciting new opportunity has arisen, we are seeking a well-organised and proactive Cluster Development Support Officer to join our Primary Care & Therapies Group.
This Band 4 role is central to delivering high-quality administrative support to the Cluster Development Team and the wider Performance and Planning function. The successful applicant will be instrumental in maintaining effective governance, financial tracking, and service delivery across eight clusters, supporting the team in achieving local and national healthcare objectives.

Main duties of the job
This post provides key administrative support across multiple workstreams in the Primary Care & Therapies Group. The role includes:
Supporting the Cluster Development Team in day-to-day administrative functions, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, document production, and database management.
Contributing to planning, governance, and financial tracking processes aligned with Welsh Government and Health Board priorities.
Supporting the wider Performance and Planning function through data analysis, reporting, and maintaining up-to-date records to inform decision-making.
Assisting with implementation of cluster programmes, service evaluations, and grant scheme administration.
Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication across the team and partnership forums.
The post holder will be expected to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to the delivery of sustainable, well-governed primary care services.

Qualifications & Knowledge
* Educated to Diploma level qualification or Advanced Keyboard skills/qualification e.g. RSA 111 (or equivalent)
* In-depth and detailed knowledge and understanding of corporate procedures, the structure, policies, plans, regulations, management, and operational procedures of the Organisation acquired through on the job training, short courses, and experience.
* Evidence of commitment to ongoing personal development
Experience
* Experience of working in a complex organisation providing comprehensive administrative/PA service within a team
* Experience of setting up and using filing/IT systems in a large organisation
* Experience of dealing with confidential information, prioritising, and responding appropriately
* Experience of dealing with members of staff / the public and external bodies professionally and sensitively and to maintain a high standard of confidentiality
Aptitude and abilities
* Ability to use the full suite of Microsoft office including virtual platforms
* Ability to take comprehensive formal minutes and transcriptions
* Able to understand and maintain confidentiality
* Excellent organisation/time management and communication skills
* Ability to provide an efficient, prompt, and accurate secretarial service
