Local HR Services & Administration Responsibilities
* Support the regional and central HR services team as the local point of escalation.
* Coordinate local practices for people services (e.g., approvals, documentation requests, physical signatures, contract printing, filing, archive management, scanning).
* Assist the UK HR team and regional HR Business Partners with the implementation of key HR interventions and employee relations topics.
* Support onboarding of new colleagues.
* Support initiatives for employee engagement.
* Ensure compliance with UK labour laws and reporting obligations, connecting with local or central HR team members as needed.
* Maintain and update local HR policies within the HR portal.
* Organise the logistics and support the People Services team in all training and workshops in the UK (room bookings, catering, printing of documentation, etc.).
* Organise the logistics of HR events such as Wellbeing, DEI, CSR and other committees, supporting the management of the annual calendar for these events.
* Raise purchase orders and approve invoices for designated responsibilities.
* Coordinate relationships with local third‑party vendors, including participation in tender processes and handling contract documentation.
General Administration & Coordination
* Assist teams in large event management both internal and external (venue booking, travel arrangements, etc.).
* Help plan and execute UK conferences, from securing venues to collaborating with the leadership team and organisational group to develop agendas.
* Provide administrative support for monthly townhall meetings.
* Support the Senior Leadership team with administrative tasks.

The Local HR Services & Admin Assistant is tasked with providing key support to the Human Resources department while ensuring the smooth operation of general administrative tasks. This role is essential for supporting the execution of key HR activities on the ground, such as recruitment, onboarding, training and employee relations, by ensuring these processes are carried out efficiently and effectively at a local level.
The role holder will work closely with the UK HR team and regional People Services teams, managing tasks that cannot be completed by our remote People Services team. Additionally, the role will provide essential assistance in general administration services, including travel and event management for the teams in the UK.
