Overview
Make data count where it matters most. We are looking for an experienced and motivated health data professional to join our Public Health Nursing Service and play a key role in strengthening data quality and insight across Health Visiting and School Nursing. Public Health Nursing sits at the heart of prevention, safeguarding and early intervention. This role is central to ensuring the information that underpins these services is accurate, meaningful and used well to support safe, effective and equitable care across Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities
* Lead on data quality improvement and analysis, producing clear and timely reporting that supports service planning, quality improvement and performance management. Work closely with clinicians, service leads, Business Intelligence and commissioners to strengthen data flows, definitions and recording practice.
* Support colleagues to feel confident using data, including offering guidance, training and problem solving, not just producing reports. Your work will directly inform senior decision making, audits, service reviews and transformation projects.
Qualifications /Requirements
* Experience as a health data professional with a focus on data quality, analysis and reporting in a public health or health service setting.
* Ability to collaborate with clinicians, service leads, Business Intelligence teams and commissioners.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to provide guidance and training to non-technical colleagues.
