We are looking for a skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of your designated room, lead a team of Early Years Educators, foster children9s development, and build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.
Salary: £30,317 for full time. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of your designated room and ensure exceptional standards of care and education.
* Lead, inspire and support a team of Early Years Educators, promoting professional growth and high-quality practice.
* Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, encouraging active involvement in their childs learning and development.
* Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that fosters children9s well-being and learning.
* Plan, deliver and evaluate age-appropriate, engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Accurately record and track children9s progress and development, sharing information effectively with parents, carers, and relevant professionals.
* Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery through reflective practice, team collaboration, and implementation of best practice.
Essential Criteria
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
* Experience in a nursery/pre-school setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements.
