Role: Capability Lead – Process Data & Architecture

The team is accelerating modern engineering practices, championing systems thinking, and enabling the digital capabilities that underpin our long‑term success.
Role Summary
In this context, we are looking for a Capability Lead – Process Data & Architecture to support our evolving engineering process and Data framework. This role will shape our enterprise modelling approach and set the direction for consistent, system‑driven process and data integration across the business.
Key Deliverables
We’ll Need You To
* Lead the definition of our future engineering process and process data architecture.
* Develop the modelling standard and guide teams in applying systems engineering principles to the Process and Data domains.
* Develop initial models and evolve them through cross‑functional engagement.
* Improve data structure, discoverability, and interoperability to unlock digital use cases.
Skills / Qualifications
As you can see, this is a pivotal role influencing enterprise‑wide engineering transformation, and you’ll bring a collaborative mindset, strategic thinking, and first‑class communication skills to our business, as well as:
* A relevant degree is desirable, though equivalent experience is equally valued.
* Experience shaping process or data architecture, and supporting integrated modelling environments.
* Strong understanding of engineering data structures, interoperability, and modelling standards.
* Knowledge of MBSE or systems engineering practices, experience with Enterprise Architect desirable.
Location
We offer hybrid working, and you’ll attend an office in Manchester, Warrington or Derby on a regular basis to collaborate with engineering and digital teams.
Salary and Package
* We anticipate paying a salary of between £57,600 - £75,600 DOE
* Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5%
* Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package
* Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
* Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.

* Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
* £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
