We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to join a leading provider of residential and supported living care for individuals with complex needs. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional care delivery and operational excellence within OFSTED and/or CQC-regulated services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day operations across one or more care services.
* Ensure full compliance with CQC and/or OFSTED regulations.
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with complex needs.
* Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and performance management of staff.
* Develop and audit care and risk management plans.
* Maintain health and safety standards and report significant incidents.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies, families, and professionals.
* Ensure effective rota and resource management.
Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent (children or adult services).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a care management role, ideally in a children’s or specialist setting.
* Strong knowledge of CQC and/or OFSTED standards and safeguarding frameworks.
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage compliance, and drive service improvements.
* Excellent communication, auditing, and organisational skills.
* Flexible to participate in an on-call rota (including weekends).
