Job Title: Membership Client Relationship Manager

Starting salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per annum

About the role
We are looking for a Membership Client Relationship Manager to join IOSH, at this exciting time as we develop and grow internationally. This is a business development role focusing on member recruitment and retention to meet business targets. The role is responsible for managing relationships with UK and global organisations as well as stakeholders to keep members engaged.
As the Membership Client Relationship Manager, you will handle membership agreements with other professional bodies, identify and securing new memberships, conduct market research to ensure competitiveness, and serving as the main point of contact for member acquisition, retention strategies and reporting.
About you
We are looking an individual with extensive business development knowledge and experience, including building sales and marketing plans to drive customer growth and retention. You will have a passion for managing and developing a team through working with individuals and organisations to deliver relevant products and account manage to create long-term business relationships.
With your strong communication skills, you will confidently lead stakeholders globally as well as develop and coach the team. As a skilled organiser you will manage a portfolio of partner accounts displaying problem-solving and renegotiation skills and have a good knowledge of market segmentation and membership bodies.
Essential Criteria
* Business Development knowledge including building sales and marketing plans to drive customer growth and retention
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisational skills to manage a portfolio of partner accounts
* Experience of working in a business development/account management role, preferably within the membership sector
* Experience of seeking new business opportunities globally and managing and growing existing customer accounts
