About the Role
As a Junior Kitchen Manager, you will:
* Support the Kitchen Manager in running a bustling kitchen and leading a talented team of chefs.
* Step up in the Kitchen Manager's absence, ensuring smooth operations.
* Monitor guest experiences and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
* Conduct daily briefings to inspire and grow your team.
* Manage stock control and ensure food presentation meets our high standards.
* Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to specifications.
* Uphold food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations in line with legislation and company policies.
* Be a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, ensuring training schedules and performance development plans are in place.
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who:
* Have experience in a similar role and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Are hardworking, determined, and reliable, always seeking better ways to meet our brand standards.
* Bring energy and enthusiasm to the kitchen, understanding the value of teamwork.
* Hold a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and are confident in leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Are adept at managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.

Working Conditions
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, totaling 40 hours. Flexibility is key, as some shifts may extend late into the night, with 4am finishes involved.
