About Our Client
Our client, situated in Broadway, is a medical practice focused on delivering top-tier healthcare to the local community. They offer tailored services aimed at supporting well-being in a friendly and compassionate environment.
Hours and Rate
Hours: Monday-Friday 18:00-20:00 (10 hours per week)
Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
* Thoroughly disinfect and sanitize medical equipment, surfaces, and patient rooms.
* Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
* Properly handle and dispose of medical waste according to guidelines.
* Clean and sanitize public areas such as waiting rooms, offices, kitchens, communal areas, restrooms, and corridors.
* Perform cleaning in critical areas as required (e.g., operating rooms).
* Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in patient and public areas.
* Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
* Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
* Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
* Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
* Collaborate with cleaning and medical staff to maintain a clean environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
* Good communication skills to report issues to management
