Part‑Time Personal Assistant
Part‑time role (approximately 4 hours per week) to support a 21‑year‑old individual living in the Hopkinstown area of Pontypridd. The position involves community outings and social activities to help build confidence and relationships.
Rate: £14.50 per hour; plus 40p per mile where applicable.
Hours: Flexible arrangement, 4 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Take the individual out into the community.
* Engage in social activities such as bowling, darts, and pool.
* Help build confidence and support personal development.
* Use initiative to suggest new tasks and activities.
* Prompt and encourage participation in activities.
* Adapt plans through trial and error to discover preferences.
Requirements
* Patient, reliable, and punctual.
* Outgoing and able to take the lead.
* Able to drive a car with business‑class insurance.
* Comfortable working from home with a cat.
* Willing to build a long‑term supportive relationship.
* Friendly and kind demeanor.

Employment will commence after satisfactory references and a DBS disclosure (Police Check). The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part‑time role, a National Insurance number is required, and wages will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay provided.
All employment terms are governed under the initial trial period and follow standard employment legislation.
