Fidelity Assurance Officers - Connect to Work Programme
Fixed Term 3 Years (April 2026 - March 2029)
Full Time 37 hours per week
These exciting new roles will support the Connect to Work Programme Manager within the Performance and Partnerships Team.
The postholders will support programme management of the Connect to Work programme. Connect to Work is a comprehensive supported employment programme funded by Department of Work and Pensions which is designed to help individuals overcome barriers to employment, develop skills, and access meaningful job opportunities. The programme will deliver support to over 6000 people across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay by 2030.
As a Fidelity Assurance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the programme is delivered to the highest standard, maintaining full compliance with national Supported Employment models - Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) - while supporting delivery partners to drive continuous improvement.

About the Role
* Lead on monitoring fidelity, compliance and quality assurance across internal teams and external partners.
* Conduct assurance reviews, observations and file audits, producing clear, evidence-based reports.
* Coach, mentor and support Employment Specialists, Team Leaders and partner staff to implement IPS/SEQF standards.
* Facilitate learning networks, training sessions and good-practice sharing.
* Support services to prepare for internal and external fidelity assessments.
* Develop and monitor SMART action plans that strengthen service quality and delivery consistency.
* Build strong, positive relationships with partners across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.
* Help ensure the programme meets DWP contractual expectations and delivers excellent outcomes for participants.
This role is central to safeguarding programme integrity and supporting high performance across a large and diverse delivery landscape.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, flexible in prioritising work and willing to embrace a forward-thinking and dynamic team environment.
