Your new role
As Assistant to the Head of Risk &pliance, you will play a key role in supporting thepany’s regulatory andpliance functions. You’ll be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, from conductingpliance monitoring and audits to assisting with regulatory reporting and policy development. Your day-to-day will be varied, including tasks such as managing the breach register, liaising with regulators, facilitating audits, and supporting AML processes. You’ll also help prepare and implement staff training programs, maintain accurate records, and ensure thepany’s procedures align with FCA and Lloyd’s requirements. This is a dynamic position that offers exposure to both strategic and operational aspects ofpliance within a Lloyd’s broker setting.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid understanding of FCA regulations and insurancepliance, ideally gained through previous experience in an administrative support role within the insurance sector. Strong organisational andmunication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected, and a responsible, proactive attitude will be key to your success. Working towards or holding professional qualifications such as CII or ICA would be advantageous, as would a genuine interest in risk andpliance within the insurance industry.
