By having a highly regarded set of skills, apprentices can develop their careers within their specific interests and become an asset to Ford Motor Company.
An exciting opportunity for the apprentices to be trained using the latest diagnostic equipment will provide them with the relevant skills to react to the ever-changing technological developments within the car industry.
Day-to-day tasks will vary but will normally include:
* Servicing - working to manufacturer servicing guidelines to ensure vehicles run at optimum performance
* MOTs
* Vehicle maintenance - replacing parts that have wear and tear before they fail
* Observing and assisting technicians
* Repair - diagnosing the reason for vehicle failure and fixing the problem
* Achieving a Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 qualification
* Holding a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation before the Standard is met
Working hours: Monday - Friday; 9.00am - 5.00pm (Shifts to be confirmed with the employer).
