Key Responsibilities
* Managing and monitoring of work activities carried out against the pre‑determined schedule, the number of items supplied and costs
* Monitoring of staff, labour and plant hire rates utilized on the contract; compiling monthly reports and managing cost allocation
* Organising and tracking the procurement of sub‑contractors
* Being responsible for the preparation and internal governance authorisation of subcontractor payments
* Assisting in the placing of subcontract tasks orders in accordance with the main contract
* Attending operational & subcontractor meetings; monitoring subcontractors against programme
* Assisting in the preparation of client and subcontract final accounts
* Ensuring the risk register and change register is kept up to date
* Supporting the monitoring of internal expenditure against budget/cost plans and maximising the efficiency of reporting techniques and systems
Experience And Qualifications
* Curious, driven graduates with a collaborative mindset, a willingness to learn and a desire to make an impact
* Final-year students or recent graduates with a role-related degree (2:2 or above)
* Full UK driving licence (some travel)
* Individuals who want responsibility early and enjoy learning by doing
* Must have graduated within the last two years
* Negotiation and influencing skills
* Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
* Strong commercial acumen
