Your new companyHays are delighted to be supporting a high-growth technology SME based near Solihull to recruit their next Financial Controller. The company have niche products and are market leaders in their field. The role is office based and has great potential.Your new roleAs Financial Controller you will lead a small team and help develop and run the finance function and will report into the UK Finance Director. This is quite a technically focussed role and would appeal to someone who is potentially from a Practice background or a Financial Accounts role within industry. Key duties include:
1. Provide robust financial analysis of historic and future performance to enable appropriate commercial and strategic decision-making
2. Provide short term, medium term, and long-term strategic reports for the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow and contribute to the annual budget process
3. Review and support on payroll submissions and pension submission completion
4. Lead the Year End Audit
5. Ensure all Month and Year End tasks and all associated reporting are completed
6. Support the preparation and submission of all Statutory Accounts and ensure that payments have been made to time against the given timescales
7. Compile Annual Tax Packs and liaise with Tax Advisors on compilation and completion of Annual Tax Submission
