What You’ll Be Doing
In this rewarding role, you will:
* Deliver 1:1 and small-group support tailored to the needs of individual learners.
* Help students with Autism, communication needs and sensory challenges engage meaningfully in lessons.
* Support pupils with emotional regulation, encouraging confidence, independence and resilience.
* Use creative strategies (visual aids, sensory tools, structured routines) to help students access learning.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists and SEN specialists to deliver personalised support plans.
* Create a safe, nurturing and structured environment where students feel valued and understood.
* Celebrate small wins and help pupils build positive relationships and life skills.

✔️ What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
* Experience supporting SEN, complex needs, youth work or challenging behaviour.
* A caring, calm and patient approach — especially when things get tough.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with young people.
* Understanding of Autism, ADHD, sensory needs or emotional support strategies (training can be provided!).
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).
* A passion for helping young people overcome barriers and succeed in their own way.
