Job Description
We are working with a reputable design consultancy specializing in offshore wind, seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Bristol or London. The role involves working on WTG foundations within the offshore wind sector.
The successful candidate will have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in offshore structures, wind turbines, or marine systems. Key skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and familiarity with structural design software such as Sesam and Ansys. Openness to learning new in-house software is also desired.
The role requires experience with analyses like ULS, FLS, wave loading, and a solid understanding of offshore wind foundation design, particularly interfaces between secondary structures and other disciplines such as primary steel and electrical design.
This position offers the opportunity to work abroad for two months a year and collaborate with industry leaders in offshore wind foundation design, contributing to a team striving to be the world's leading offshore renewable energy organization.
