Night Senior Carer position at Rochcare Ltd. You will support residents in an updated care home, receive a £250 welcome bonus and earn £13.80 per hour.
Reports to: Manager and Deputy Manager. Rochcare is a family‑run business providing quality residential care for older people and those with dementia.
About The Role
As a Senior Carer you will:
* Support people with all aspects of their health, social and emotional wellbeing, including personal care, mobility, medication, continence, nutrition & hydration, in line with their care plan.
* Ensure residents appear well‑kept in personal care, hygiene and clothing.
* Provide mental and physical stimulation through conversation, hobbies and activities.
* Show passion to make a difference, work as part of a team and treat everyone with dignity.
* Write, update, review and work with individual care plans to enhance physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
* Liaise between the manager and care workers, reporting good practice and any concerns with clear communication.
* Build relationships with people whose understanding is impaired and can communicate with families.
* Complete necessary records and routines accurately, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
The post holder should be ready to assist the physical and personal needs of older people, demonstrate compassion, respect for privacy and uphold professional standards.
Schedule and Pay
* 33 hours per week (3 evenings a week, alternate weekends)
* Hourly wage: £13.80

Essential Requirements
* Right to live and work in the UK

* Good English, numeracy and writing skills
* Good communication and listening skills
* Social care qualification (Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care)
Desired Skills
* Previous experience as a senior carer or team leader in an adult care setting
* Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate between departments
