Are you passionate about helping young people with additional needs reach their full potential? We’re looking for a dedicated and creative Personal Development Tutor to join our Inclusive Learning team and make a real difference to learners on our Evolve programmes.
You’ll inspire and support learners with SEND and barriers to learning, helping them build the confidence, resilience, and independence they need to progress into further education, training, or employment.
What you’ll do:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in personal and social development
Provide individual pastoral care and guidance to learners with SEND
Coordinate and monitor personalised study programmes and track progress against EHCP goals
Work closely with parents, carers, agencies, and employers to support positive learner outcomes
Encourage and motivate learners to achieve their goals and maintain high attendance
Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Evolve provision
What we’re looking for:
Level 5 teaching qualification (or equivalent)
Level 2 English, Maths and ICT (or willingness to achieve within agreed timeframe)
Experience working with SEND or NEET learners in education
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to supporting learners
Flexibility to work across College sites as required
