Nursery Key Worker – Level 3 32.5 hours per week, term time only To commence September 2026 £28,598 - £31,022 pro-rata salary is approximately £21,606 - £23,438 St John’s CE Primary is seeking a passionate and dedicated practitioner to lead in our Little Saints provision for 2-year-olds, part of our school nursery. This is an exciting new provision launching in September 2026, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with the EYFS Phase Leader and the Senior Leadership Team to help set up and shape the provision from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the provision, delivering high-quality sessions, and supporting team members through observation and guidance. We are looking for someone who leads by example and promotes an outstanding provision that meets the needs of all children. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: · NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare (essential) · Post-qualified experience working with children aged 0–11 years · Training in safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid · A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) · Knowledge of OFSTED standards (essential) · Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines · Understanding of Health and Safety legislation We are looking for someone who demonstrates: · Excellent teamwork and communication skills · Ambition and a commitment to professional development · An organised and analytical approach · A great sense of humour, along with respect and support for the talents around them!
