Responsibilities

* Facilitate communication between families and relevant services, ensuring they have access to necessary resources such as education, healthcare, and social services.
* Support children's development through activities that promote learning and emotional well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of interactions with families and report on progress as required.
* Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, educators, and healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to family support.
* Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to family support work.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children is essential for this role; familiarity with family dynamics is highly advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with families from diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with children and adults alike.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
