Overview We are currently recruiting for a Fire Alarm Engineer on behalf of a successful interior construction contractor. They offer a wide range of services including interior design & fit-out, electrical contracting, energy solutions and more. Established over 30 years, they have a workforce of over 50 employees. They mainly work in the commercial, industrial and retail sectors. They often work on retail outlets, office blocks, warehouses, restaurants and showrooms. Clients include the likes of North Face, Ford, Asda, B&Q etc. As the Fire Alarm Engineer, this will be mostly installation work as they are bringing the Fire Alarm services in house so wanting someone to lead and build a team eventually. You will report directly to the Director. You will assist in gaining accreditations initially, aiding their electrical engineers gain experience, checking work, commissioning, providing certification and handover documentation. Initially there will be quite a lot of working away but this will reduce the more competent installation engineers they have, then there is also potential to move into the office This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, paying £47,840 per annum.
