Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress to the next step within the Surgical Division as a Team Leader/Medical Secretary post arising in the Surgical Division Team. We have a permanent post available at 32 hours per week. The department is staffed Monday to Friday between 0800 -1700. (hours to be discussed in interview).


Responsibilities

* The post-holder will have on-going support from two other Team Leaders within the department and initially, the Admin Line Manager and they would be expected to provide cross-cover within the team and to provide cover absence.
* Provide cross-cover within the team and to provide cover for absence.
* Work with a wide range of people and communicate with people across the Trust.


Qualifications/Attributes

* You must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills, an ability to use your own initiative and work well under pressure.
* You will be adaptable, proactive, reliable and an excellent team member with good secretarial qualifications and/or experience.
* Knowledge of working in a hospital environment and being proactive and organised is desirable.
