Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Confidential - Manufacturing Site Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum (DOE) Hours: Monday-Friday, Days (39 hours per week) The Opportunity A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, to join a skilled engineering team supporting a bespoke production environment. This is a stable, long-term role offering training, overtime, and a strong benefits package. Key Responsibilities Electrical and mechanical maintenance of production machinery Fault finding on CNC machinery including milling, turning, cutting, and grinding PLC fault finding and basic diagnostics Maintenance of conveyors, belts, bearings, and associated systems Working with robotics, sensors, relays, and motors Hydraulics and pneumatics maintenance Welding and fabrication (advanced skills advantageous) Supporting continuous improvement and machine reliability Skills & Experience Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent engineering background Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment Electrical bias preferred Experience with CNC machinery highly desirable Ability to work independently and as part of a team What's on Offer £40,000-£45,000 per annum (DOE) Overtime available: 1.33x weekdays 1.5x Saturdays 2x Sundays Call-out rota: £150 per week door-to-door paid travel 25 days holiday bank holidays Pension contribution up to 6.5% Life assurance (3x basic salary) External training and development opportunities Early finish Fridays Flexible start and finish times (subject to agreement) Shift Pattern Days only Monday to Friday Typical hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm
