The RoleA secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a committed and engaging English Teacher to join their department from March 2026 on a long-term assignment. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, delivering structured and engaging lessons that support pupils in developing strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.The role includes planning and delivering lessons, marking work, and monitoring student progress while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning. The school is looking for a teacher who can motivate pupils and build confidence in both written and spoken English.The CandidateThe successful candidate will:
* Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
* Have experience teaching English at secondary level
* Be confident delivering English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Be committed to raising pupil attainment and engagement
