The children come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs ( SEMH ). Many will also have other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities ( SEND ) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. The work is varied and challenging, as a trauma and attachment informed organisation, all staff are provided with extensive therapeutic training and support. About the role: The school is seeking a teacher who is able to teach core subjects to Key Stages 2 and 3. It is expected that you can plan and deliver lessons to cater for students' individual needs, you will be supported by the classroom TA’s. There is flexibility to work on a part time or full time basis, term time only, between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm. About you: The headteacher is seeking a kind, dedicated teacher, who can provide the best quality of education to vulnerable children. You must have a genuine passion for teaching and supporting children with SEN. You must be mouldable to be able teach any subject and support the school when there are staff absences. It is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and at least 3 years teaching experience in the UK.
