Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nottingham for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. The role involves assisting with cost management processes, preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing cost control, and contributing to cost planning and reporting. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project teams to ensure financial efficiency throughout project lifecycles, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
* Experience with preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
* Knowledge and ability to handle Cost Reporting
* Attention to detail and aptitude for managing budgets
* Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
* Proficiency in relevant software and IT tools
* Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* Knowledge of local construction industry standards and regulations is a plus
