Job Description:
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to work within a specialist brain injury rehabilitation service in Southeast London.
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will be working alongside 2 Consultant Neuropsychologists and will have the offering of full funding/support packages to complete the QiCN for those interested in progressing their neuropsychology career.
The post holder will be employed as a band 7 (preceptorship scheme available) or a band 8a Psychologist, working within an MDT, offering specialist neuropsychological assessments and interventions for inpatients with neurological conditions.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – full time, fully on site. Subject to applications part time may be considered.
Experience required:
Those applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist along with neuropsychology experience (during training or post qualifying) in either an inpatient or community setting. Those wanting to be considered at 8a level will also have the experience to carry out and interpret neuropsychological assessments.
