Premier Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a well established and international organisation in Rainham to recruit a Logistic Supervisor to join their team. This is an exciting, full-time and permanent position role with a scope for progression.
Job Role:
To provide support to the Supply Chain Manager with managing and refining all operational, commercial and customer service aspects of inbound and outbound logistics requirements through established contracts and continuous improvement initiatives with third-party logistics providers and service partners.
1. Supporting the leadership of a well-established team of eight colleagues, responsible for order capture, processing and fulfilment, inventory control, import & export administration, silo & farm optimisation and service level reporting
2. Assisting with the operational and commercial performance of all third-party logistics providers, covering all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics movements
3. Supporting the work-flow within the Logistics team to ensure optimal performance and adherence to deadlines
4. Supporting the relationship with major retailers, relating to factory gate collections, back haul and consolidation centre operations, including commercial agreements
