GSL Education are seeking a reliable Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), providing support to teachers and pupils to enhance learning outcomes. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will assist with classroom activities, support individual pupils, and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in delivering lessons and learning activities. Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils to reinforce learning. Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom. Assist in preparing resources and monitoring pupil progress. Requirements: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
