Job: Occupational Health Manager
Location: Scotland
Salary: Up to £57,000 per annum
Hours: Full time
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Occupational Health Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the chance to lead and shape Occupational Health services across a dynamic and diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the Occupational Health team to ensure effective service delivery
* Overseeing clinical case management, including complex referrals and return-to-work assessments
* Managing health surveillance activities such as audiometry and spirometry
* Supporting the development and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives
* Delivering nurse-led clinics and overseeing pre-placement health assessments
* Ensuring all service provision aligns with current legislation, clinical standards, and best practice
* Providing expert advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders
Essential Criteria:
* NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience
* Occupational Health qualification (Diploma/Degree level)
* Proven experience in a managerial or senior clinical Occupational Health role
* Skilled in clinical decision-making and managing complex cases
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable:
* Experience in health promotion and wellbeing campaigns
* Background in public sector or safety-critical environments
* Experience leading on service development and improvement initiatives
