I am looking for a Building Surveyor to join a social housing and support services company that operate in and around the North Staffordshire region. The main role will be supporting their Responsive Repairs and maintenance teams, carrying out 6 surveys a day. The Building Surveyor will benefit from a 2k car allowance and hybrid working. Benefits of this role: 2K Car allowance 1 day in the office 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme and life insurance up to 3X salary Building Surveyor duties: To carry out in-depth surveys to properties, including diagnosing complex faults and failures, undertaking appropriate inspections as required across voids and responsive repairs Inspect, measure, and schedule works issued including, pre-inspections and preparation of diagrams or drawings necessary to undertake the work To prepare detailed specifications including Nat fed 8 rates, including the overseeing of contractors delivery of works, whilst managing quality, value for money, and progress, all in line with contract terms and customer expectations Complete inspections and surveys you will carry out Damp Mould and Condensation Inspections and provide solutions that align with ombudsman recommendations (AWAABs Law) Building Surveyor requirements: 2 years of post-qualification experience within a social housing maintenance surveyor role and across core trades Experience using SOR's Social Housing experience Must be able...
