Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate / Senior) – Fit Out Contractor Location: London & West London (projects) Salary: Competitive – DOE (open to Intermediate or Senior level) Type: Permanent Projects: Commercial Fit Out (£800k – £1.5m) The Company A young, growing Fit Out contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit out projects across London and West London. The business is expanding steadily and offers a genuine opportunity for the right Quantity Surveyor to grow into a leadership role and head up the commercial function as the company scales. The Role We are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for multiple fit out projects valued between £800k and £1.5m. You will work closely with the Directors and Project Managers, playing a key role in shaping commercial processes and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities * Full commercial management of fit out projects from pre-contract to final account * Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts * Procurement of subcontractors and placing orders * Valuations, cost value reconciliation (CVRs), and reporting * Managing variations, change control, and final accounts * Subcontractor payments and commercial negotiations * Supporting pre-construction and tender pricing where required * Contributing to the development of commercial systems and procedures About You * Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the Fit Out or Interiors sector * Intermediate QS ready to step up or an established Senior QS * Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously * Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills * Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a small business environment * Ambition to progress into a Commercial Manager / Head of Commercial role over time What’s On Offer * Competitive salary depending on experience * Real career progression in a growing business * Opportunity to shape the commercial side of the company * Direct access to Directors and decision-makers * Varied, fast-paced fit out projects
