JOB DESCRIPTION
To relieve teachers of non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks such as preparing teaching materials.
Support the learning activities of children under the guidance of the classroom teacher, Principal Teacher, and colleagues.
Assist pupils with additional support needs, which may include physical difficulties and challenging behaviour.

REQUIREMENTS
This role is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join or update their PVG Scheme membership before employment begins. Further information is available on the Disclosure Scotland website.
