I'm working with a well-established accountancy practice in Poole who are looking to bring in a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a solid opportunity for someone who is part-qualified and has experience working in practice, ideally managing their own portfolio or supporting one. The role will involve working with a varied client base, preparing accounts, handling VAT returns, and building good working relationships with clients. It would suit someone who is confident, organised, and comfortable working in a busy practice environment. What they're looking for: Part-qualified (ACCA / ACA / AAT or similar) Previous experience in an accountancy practice Experience managing a portfolio, or ready to step into that level Good communication skills and a professional approach with clients Someone reliable who can work both independently and as part of a team The setup: 4 days per week in the Poole office 1 day per week working from home Supportive team and stable working environment Salary will depend on experience, and there is scope for development for the right person.
