Immediate Start | 3-Month Contract Were currently supporting a client in the search for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR team on an initial 3-month contract based in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an ER specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage a broad range of complex employee relations casework from start to finish. The Role: As Employee Relations Advisor, youll provide expert advice and guidance to managers across a wide range of ER matters, ensuring cases are managed fairly, consistently, and in line with employment legislation and organisational policy. Key responsibilities include: * Managing a high-volume ER caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, performance and capability * Advising managers on employment law, policy, and best practice * Supporting investigations, hearings, and appeals * Drafting outcome letters and case documentation * Coaching and upskilling managers on ER processes * Supporting wider HR initiatives and change projects where required About You: * Proven experience in a dedicated Employee Relations / HR Advisory role * Strong end-to-end employee relations case management experience is essential * Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice * Ability to manage sensitive and complex cases with confidence and professionalism * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills * Previous public sector experience would be highly desirable * Available to work on-site in Portsmouth, 5 days per week Whats on Offer: * Competitive hourly rate of £22-£23 per hour * Holiday pay on top * Immediate start opportunity * Chance to join a supportive and collaborative HR team * Valuable contract experience within a busy and impactful environment If youre an experienced ER professional available at short notice and looking for your next contract opportunity, please apply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
