Salary £30,000 - £50,000 DOE including on call, overtime & benefits
Metro Rod works with the likes of Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds and Wetherspoons across the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Overview
Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, we also operate Willow Pumps and Filta, businesses focused on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a one‑stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.
Duties
* Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of customers’ drains
* Operation of High‑Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
* Carrying out surveys
* Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
* Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps
* Communicating effectively with high‑profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
* Being part of an on‑call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year
Qualifications
* Experience in commercial & domestic drainage is essential
* Experience in drain cleaning, drain repairs, patch lining
* Drainage tickets including HPWJ, confined spaces and CSCS
* Experience with CCTV surveys and lining
* Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
* Willingness to work occasional/unsociable hours
* Hold a full UK driving licence – must be over 25 for insurance purposes
