We are working exclusively with an established leading brand within the UK who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a full time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will join a driven finance team and will be responsible for:
* Collection of outstanding debts, both commercial and consumer debt
* Maintaining accurate customer records
* Contacting customers by phone, letter and email
* Monitoring account balances and ensuring timely payments within agreed terms
* Liaising with departments to resolve any disputes
* Escalate high risk accounts when necessary to the Finance Manager
* Setting up customer accounts
* Allocating payments
* Producing aged debt reports
* Dealing with rebate and reclaims
* Processing credit application forms
* Negotiating payment plans
Ideal Candidates
* Previous credit control experience ideally in manufacturing
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work to deadline s
* Opera experience - an advantage
* Strong Excel skills including VLookUps
