Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the home as the Children’s Home Manager, ensuring compliance and quality of care. * Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for young people with EBD. * Recruit, train, and develop staff, embedding a culture of excellence. * Ensure full adherence to OFSTED standards, safeguarding procedures, and legislative requirements. * Oversee budgeting, resourcing, and reporting to senior management. * Collaborate effectively with families, local authorities, and multi-agency partners. * Continually review and improve care plans and operational procedures. Requirements * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role within residential childcare. * Comprehensive knowledge of OFSTED regulations and safeguarding frameworks. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Enhanced DBS check required. * Essential Qualifications & Experience * At least 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential care setting. * Experience in Management or as a Deputy Manager * Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
